The Palm Hills Golf Resort & Country Club located in Hua Hin and established in 1992 was designed by Max Wexler. The golf course is close to Hua Hin airport. The Palm Hills Golf Course is well know in the area as it played host to the inaugural Thailand World Pro Am tournament in 1993.The fairways, Bermuda Tifway 419, are generous and wide, making this course popular with golfers of all abilities. In addition to the golf course, there is a complete sports resort, with two clubhouses. One caters to the enormous Sports Club which has a large swimming pool and several outdoor tennis courts. Inside are the badminton, squash, ping pong, and snooker facilities.
