Mountain Creek Golf Resort and Residence is a 27 hole golf course past the Khao Yai National Park. Thailand’s only Seve Ballesteros designed golf course is spread out over three nine holes loops, each of which have been named to follow their natural environments: highlands, creek or valley. Lakewood Links is a relatively new golf course which opened in 2015, and is accessible in just over 30 minutes from Bangkok's city centre. These owners, who also run Lakewood Country Club nearby and Mountain Creek in Korat, have built an interesting links style par 72 layout over some flat piece of land backed up by sandy waste areas, sand dunes and a few water features. If you like your links style golf, then this set up will impress low handicappers, where they will need contend with sandy waste areas, sand dunes, fairways up to large multi-tiered greens. With 80% of the course having water hazards, fairly narrow fairways and a few elevated greens, you will need you’re A game here.
